Welcome to Sacred Tranquility. By accessing our website, booking a session, or participating in any offering, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.

1. Disclaimer & Liability

Sacred Tranquility offers a range of holistic and intuitive services—including but not limited to sound healing, intuitive counseling, mediumship, energy work, and grief-informed support. These modalities are complementary in nature and are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or legal care.

By booking a session, the client acknowledges that:

  • Sacred Tranquility and its practitioners do not diagnose, treat, or guarantee outcomes.

  • Clients are responsible for their own physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

  • Sacred Tranquility and its practitioners are not liable for any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from participation in any session or service.

Clients should consult a licensed healthcare provider for medical or mental health concerns.

2. Rescheduling Policy – Honoring Your Commitment to Healing

At Sacred Tranquility, each session is carefully prepared to create a deeply restorative experience. To honor this space and ensure availability for all clients:

  • Cancellations are not offered; however, you may reschedule your appointment within 30 days of the original session date.

  • Reschedule requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance to ensure availability.

  • Rescheduling within 24 hours of your appointment may result in a 15% rescheduling fee.

  • A missed appointment will be considered a no-show and is non-refundable.

3. Payment & Refund Policy

By completing your booking, you acknowledge and agree to all Sacred Tranquility policies, including payment, rescheduling, and membership terms.

  • Payment is required at the time of booking.

  • All session fees are non-refundable.

  • Gift cards are transferable.

  • Bundled sessions and memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.

4. Chargeback & Dispute Resolution

All payments are securely processed via Stripe. Chargebacks or unauthorized disputes may result in restricted future bookings.

If you have questions or concerns about your booking, please contact Sacred Tranquility directly before disputing a charge with your bank. We’re happy to assist with any scheduling needs.

5. Session Guidelines & Client Comfort

To support a grounded and peaceful experience:

  • Please arrive on time to receive the full session.

  • Clients with sensory sensitivities, hearing devices, or mobility needs are encouraged to share this in advance so accommodations can be made.

  • The studio is a quiet, meditative space. Please refrain from bringing guests or using electronic devices during the session.

  • Sessions for minors require parental consent, and the parent/guardian must be present for the entire session.

6. Professional Boundaries & No-Contact Policy

General No-Touch Policy for All Modalities

All Sacred Tranquility services—intuitive, energetic, or spiritual—are conducted without physical touch unless explicitly stated otherwise. The practitioner does not engage in any form of physical contact with clients during intuitive counseling, mediumship, or energy-based sessions.

Clients are not permitted to touch the practitioner at any time.

Any inappropriate or unsolicited physical contact will result in immediate termination of the session without refund.

Sacred Tranquility maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding misconduct.

Sound Healing – Limited Contact Exception

Sound healing sessions are designed to be a non-contact experience, with the sole exception of placing a singing bowl on the client’s body with clear verbal consent.

  • This is optional and will only occur if the client expresses comfort with this practice.

  • Clients may decline this at any time, without explanation.

7. Membership & Subscription Terms (If Applicable)

  • Sacred Sound Membership requires a minimum six-month commitment.

  • Sessions renew monthly, and clients will receive a renewal reminder before the next billing cycle.

8. Privacy

Personal information provided during booking will be kept confidential and used solely for scheduling, billing and communication purposes.

9. Session Locations & Liability Release

Sacred Tranquility sessions may take place in a variety of locations, including rented studios, private residences, event venues, retreat spaces, or outdoor environments. By booking a session, the client acknowledges that each location may have its own unique conditions and agrees to assume responsibility for their personal comfort, mobility, and safety within that environment.

By participating in any Sacred Tranquility service, the client releases and holds harmless:

  • Sacred Tranquility (the business),

  • Lauren Martin (the practitioner), and

  • any venue, property owner, landlord, or location host where the session occurs,

from any liability for injuries, discomfort, or outcomes arising from participation in the session or from the conditions of the space.

All Sacred Tranquility policies—including boundaries, no-touch guidelines, payment terms, and conduct expectations—apply equally in every location where services are offered.
